Am 21. Januar ist der britische Komiker, Autor, Historiker und Filmemacher Terry Jones im Alter von 77 Jahren verstorben. Zur Erinnerung an dieses vielseitige Ausnahmetalent zeigt das Filmpodium am Samstag, dem 8. Februar um 15.00 Uhr Monty Python's The Meaning of Life (1983), den Jones als Ko-Regisseur inszenierte und in dem er unter anderem eine seine berühmtesten Rollen verkörpert: den grauslichen Fresssack Mr. Creosote.

On 21st January, the British comedian, author, historian and film-maker Terry Jones died at the age of 77. As a tribute to this versatile and exceptional talent, Filmpodium will screen Monty Python's The Meaning of Life (1983), which Jones co-directed and in which he played one of his most famous roles, the gruesome glutton Mr. Creosote, on Saturday, 8th February, at 3 p.m. Mehr >
